Manager purchases Gordon Mortuary

Blacksburg, South Carolina - Scott Gordon, the nephew of the founder of Gordon Mortuary, completed the repurchase of the family business today. The funeral home was sold to The Loewen Group in the early 1990's and was subsequently purchased out of bankruptcy by a group of investors in 2001. NewBridge Group completed appraisal of the funeral home and also with worked with the bankers to get the financing completed for the purchase of the funeral home.
