Mississippi Funeral Home becomes family owned

Newton, Mississippi - Webb Funeral Home became family owned and operated again this week with the help of NewBridge Group. The funeral home had been owned by the Alderwoods Group for many years, but was sold to a regional funeral home operator in 2007, after Alderwoods merged with Service Corporation. In early 2008, NewBridge was hired by a local funeral home owner to assist in its purchase from that regional operating group. After a few months of financial and legal negotiation, that transaction was completed this week.
NewBridge is a funeral home consulting firm that assists with funeral home appraisals, financings, and funeral home acquisitions and sales.
