Greensboro, Georgia - NewBridge Group announced today that the McCommons Funeral Home, Greensboro, Georgia purchased the Callaway Funeral Home, Union Point, Georgia.    Greensboro is a thriving town just north of the rapidly growing Lake Oconee area just east of Atlanta.   McCommons Funeral Home has a strong reputation for providing high quality funeral service to the people of Greensboro County and surrounding areas.   Billy McCommons, owner of McCommons Funeral Home, said that he plans to do some additional restoration to the Callaway property which is more than 100 years old.    The two funeral homes are the only funeral homes in Greensboro County.
