Todd develops relationships with family-owned funeral home owners and helps determine cultural fits with NewBridge buyers. He has funeral home underwriting experience and can relay valuation information to prospective sellers. Todd has more than 20 years of experience in investment banking with most recently leading Business Development efforts at The Lenox Group, LLC. Todd earned his BSBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and his MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. Todd is an active member of his church, assists with youth sports, and is involved with F3atlanta. He and his wife, Anne, have two sons, Reeves and Cannon.
Shelley brings extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions, having facilitated the representation and sale of businesses with a combined value exceeding $300 million. Her experience spans a diverse range of industries, including funeral homes, mobile home parks, insurance agencies, bookstores, mail centers, and pharmacies. Shelley excels at identifying compatibility between buyers and sellers, ensuring the foundation for a successful transaction, and works closely with clients every step of the way to achieve their goals.
Shelley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from American University in Washington, D.C. When she’s not helping clients, Shelley enjoys life on her horse ranch.
Brittney is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and is very passionate about the death care profession. She has been in the industry since 2003, working at family-owned funeral homes as well as large corporations prior to joining NewBridge in 2021 to assist with M&A. Brittney loves connecting with potential selling funeral homes and preparing them for retirement. When Brittney isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, riding her horse, scuba diving, skiing, and is a major aviation lover.
Ryan leads underwriting for NewBridge, focusing on financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence for funeral homes. He works closely with sellers to understand how their business operates to help them get the best valuation for their business.
Originally from Chicago, he earned his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University’s College of Business, and now lives in St. Petersburg, FL
Rebecca assists our team with client communication, information flow, and documentation. She has a diverse background of loan origination, office management, and commercial artwork. With this strong background, Rebecca can creatively and effectively assist our clients in providing the necessary information so that we may most effectively pursue our client’s goals. Rebecca is a graduate of the American College of Applied Arts in Atlanta, Georgia, with a BFA in Visual Communications.
Megan Glasgow joins NewBridge with over fifteen years in the marketing industry. She is responsible for the marketing, communication, and content strategy efforts of the organization. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Communications, Megan has called Tallahassee her home since 2003. Over the past decade, Megan has shaped brand architecture, created content, driven social media strategy, and provided strategic guidance for effective campaigns. Megan is a fan of great music and great food with equal enthusiasm, and when she’s not at her desk you’ll find her on the nearest walking trail.
Marcus assists NewBridge's relationships within the Midwestern United States. As a 5th generation funeral director, Marcus grew up in the family funeral home. He then moved out to start a Funeral Livery and then eventually, founded Countryside Funeral Homes. Countryside Funeral Homes has grown to now serve approximately 800 families annually in the western suburbs of Chicago. Marcus joined NewBridge Group after going through the sale process himself and seeing first-hand the value of having an intermediary assist in the transaction. He is well aware of the emotions that owners experience when considering a sale, as well as many of the financial and non-financial questions to ask of a potential buyer.
Jeff has worked as a Merger and Acquisition Consultant primarily focused on the funeral industry for more than 20 years. Prior to founding NewBridge Group, Jeff was the Vice President of The Quantum Group, a mid-market merger and acquisition company based in Phoenix, Arizona. Additionally, he served as the lead financial analyst at Thomas-Pierce & Company, the top death-care industry brokerage firm during the 1990s. With Jeff’s involvement in more than 400 transactions, his solid experience negotiating with public and private buyers of funeral homes has given him an unparalleled knowledge of the industry. As a result, this has helped him determine the best methods to increase values of funeral home businesses.
