Cotrell Funeral Service and Southern Missouri Crematory Partner with Premier

Poplar Bluff, Missouri – NewBridge Group, a Mergers & Acquisition Consultants firm based in Atlanta, facilitated a partnership between Premier Funeral Management Group (PFMG) and Cotrell Funeral Service & Southern Missouri Crematory on May 20, 2014. Cotrell has been the leading funeral care provider in Poplar Bluff since its inception.  Southern Missouri Crematory was established in 2010 after Randy Schulz realized a need for a local crematory to serve the Poplar Bluff and surrounding communities.

NewBridge Group represented the former owners, Randy and Lorraine Schulz in the transaction. “It was a pleasure working with Tony Kumming and Jeff Boutwell during the process involving the sale of our funeral home and crematory. Tony was exceptional helping us with each step of the process and keeping us well informed,” says Randy Schulz.

The Schulzes will both continue to work as consultants in the business, ensuring a smooth transition of ownership to PFMG.
