Sharp Funeral Home Joins Premier Funeral Management Group

Oliver Springs, TN – Sharp Funeral Home was purchased on April 6, 2015, by Premier Funeral Management Group.  Located in Oliver Springs, TN, the funeral home was founded in 1938 by William F. Sharp, Jr. He operated the business until his death in 1992, and the business was then purchased by Jimmy and Brenda Smith.

NewBridge Group represented the former owners, Jimmy and Brenda Smith in the transaction. It was very important to the Smith’s that the new owner would remain committed to serving the community, and they felt comfortable that Premier would honor that commitment. Premier was excited to continue to grow in region, having another funeral operation 65 miles away.

Jimmy and Brenda Smith will work with Premier to hire and train a new manager to serve the community.
